In this study, a hydatid cyst intraluminally located in the myocardium and endocardium of the left ventricle of the heart during necropsy of a 4-month-old female hair goat was identified. As the left ventricular cyst was examined histopathologically, fibrous connective tissue increase and mononuclear cell infiltration were detected around the cyst. As a result of PCR, the suspected specimen was identified as Echinococcus granulosus sensu stricto. In this case report, hydatid cyst rarely seen in heart muscle was characterized defined as molecular and pathologically.
