In this study, the branch out of the axillar, brachial and median arteries of the Van cats were investigated. The axillar artery was the distal continuation of the subclavian artery. It ended in the flexion surface of the shoulder joint giving the truncus subscapularis and the brachial artery.

The cranial circumflex humeral artery rose from the caudal aspect of the brachial artery and coursed dorsocraniad.

The collateral ulnar artery rose from the brachial artery as a single trunk, immediately distal to the brachial superficial artery.

The cranial and caudal interosseus artery rose separately from the brachial artery.

The ulnar artery was the first branch of the caudal interosseus artery.
