This study was carried out to find the relationship between some udder traits and milk yield in Brown-Swiss reared at Sultansuyu Agriculture State Farm. 99 milking cows were used for the study.

Lactation period, numbers and milk yield groups has changed according to front teat length, diameter and distance between front teats to the ground were found statistically significant (p<0.05 and p<0.01). However, lactation period and number according to distance between front teats and milk yield according to front teat diameter and lactation period and differences between milk yield groups according to udder score were not changed and found to be statistically significant.

Phenotypic correlation coefficients between front teat length and diameter to milk yield in 305 days and daily milk yield were found 0.40-0.54. Amount these figures, below –0.20 and above 0.22 were determined to statistically significant (p<0.05 and p<0.01).

In conclusion, udder length of cows were found longer than other examined records in the literature. There was a negative correlation between milk yield and teat length. It was determined that, cows which had high udder score had high milk yield.
