Surgical Approach To Patient With Recurrent Ectopic Pregnancy Case Report

Ectopic pregnancy is a surgical emergency that can effect the fertility of the patient. In this case, we aimed to discuss the treatment procedures in patients with recurrent ectopic pregnancy.

A.ª. 28 years old who underwent laparascopic left lineer salpingostomy due to ectopic pregnancy before two years. After the surgery case admitted to our clinic with delay of menstruation, severe inguinal pain and vaginal bleeding. Vital signs of the patient’s were stable. Physical examination was acute abdomen and urinary pregnancy test was positive. Ultrasonography showed no intrauterine pregnancy and left heterogen adnexial mass measuring 5x6 cm and consistent with ectopic pregnancy was seen. Patient having fluid collection in douglas underwnt emergency laparotomy due to diagnosis of ruptured ectopic pregnancy and salpengectomy was performed.

In ectopic pregnancy patients who has fertility desire, conservative approach must be done and tubes must be protect. But in patients who had two or more tubal operation in stead of conservative surgery preparation to assisted reproductive technigues can be thought.
