The aim of this study was to determine the changes of serum protein fractions of beef cattle vaccinated with foot and mouth disease vaccine and simultaneously applied with vitamin AD3E and C. Fourty-eight clinically healty beef cattle, approximately aged one year, were used in this study. These animals were divided into four groups each in includes 12 animals (A, B, C and D). Inactivated foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccine was only aplicated in group A, inactivated FMD vaccine and vitamin C on day 0 and 3 were injected in gruop B, inactivated FMD vaccine and vitamin AD3E were injected in gruop C and inactivated FMD vaccine and vitamin AD3E and C were injected in gruop D. Serum total protein levels were measured by a Biuret method, and serum total protein fractions measured by Laemmli methods. In conclusion, the means of gamma globulin levels in group C and D were significantly (p<0.001) increased compared with those of the other groups, and vitamin AD3E and C application simultaneously with vaccination was determined that usefull effects on immune system.
