Food safety and quality together with the concept of development that can be easily traded, less than the consumption of ready, packaged foods, the demand has increased. In paralel, it used to be just passive aiming to protect food packaging Technologies in the preservation of foods, locating, realisation, the properties of reducing environmental waste in improving values play an important role, active and intelligent packaging technology has left them behined. In this review, smart packaging systems and the importance of food safetyin those systems were focused.
