In this study, foot diseases and hoof deformations in 1688 cattles in Tunceli region were investigated.
According to these examination the number, ration, breed, age and distribution of the cattles wiht foot diseases have been presented as tables and diagrams. Following determination of the lesion types the treatments was made by classic methods. In study, only digital deformation in the 86 claws, only foot diseases without deformation in 26 claws and both deformation and disease in 153 foot was observed. The numbers of deformed claws and diseases are 239 (at the front 32 and hind 207, in lateral 153, medial 40, bilateral 46). Classification of the deformities and diseases were as follows; owergrown claw in 132 (55.23%), blunt claw in 8 (3.35%), splay claw in 11 (4.60%), scissor claw 21 (8.79%), splay claw 24 (10.04%), corkscrew claw 43 (17.99%).
