Choroid Plexus Papilloma Presenting with Migraine-like Headache; Case Report |

Choroid plexus papillomas are rare neuroectodermal tumors that develop from choroid plexus
epithelial cells and grow up intraventricular. Most of intraventricular tumors are slow-growing low
grade tumors and progress insidiously until they are result in hydrocephalus and increassed
intracranial pressure syndrome by obstruct to cerebrospinal fluid circulation. Therefore they may
grow up to huge volume without symptom and usually require to emergency intervention. They
sometimes threaten the life of sufferer by obstructing cerebrospinal circulation suddenly. In this
case report, we presented a case of fourth ventricle choroid plexus papilloma presenting with
migraine-like headache and reviewed related literature.
