Objective: This study was aimed to define the opinions of last class medicine faculty students about medical education, anxiety about future, vocational expections and the variability of these according to gender.

Materials and Methods: The study included 124 students in the last year of medical school. A questionnaire consisting of questions related to sections on demographic and medical faculty preference features, characteristics of postgraduate expectations (preferences), specialization training preferences, professional qualification and self-confidence features were applied to the students with face to face interview technique. The data were evaluated according to gender and the results were presented as frequency distribution and percentages.

Results: It was observed that some demographic and vocational expectations of the students varied according to gender differences. Age, marital status, and the number of years they studied at the faculty were found statistically significant according to gender. It was found that being a single physician in the post-graduation task has significantly worried the female students, and that the majority of the students were concerned about being with the patient without a chaperone and not succeed in the medical examination (TUS). It was found that the majority of the students thought that the practical and theoretical training they received during their medical education would not be enough to perform their post-graduate professions.

Conclusion: The majority of the students think that their practical and theoretical training is not enough, they are concerned about being alone with the patient without a chaperone when graduated and not succeed in TUS.
