The aim of this study was to investigate the bones of pelvic limb of otters (Lutra lutra).

Ossa coxae were parallel to each other, foramen obturatum was very large, and tuber ischiadicum had a single prominence.

Trochanter tertius was crest shaped. Arciform grooves of the cochlea tibiae were oblique, and there were proximally and distally formed joints between tibia and fibula.

Caput tali was distally enlarged, and collum tali was very developed. The distal row of tarsus was consisted of four bones.

The metatarsal bones were considerably flatted at proximal half and ovaled at distal half.
