The aim of this study was to investigate the diagnosis of pregnancy by B mode real time ultrasonography rectally on the 22 nd day of gestation in sheep. A total number of 106 sheep of different breeds (Akkaraman, Morkaraman and Awassi) were examined ın the study. Pregnancy diagnosis was detected on the 22 nd day of gestation by ultrasonography rectally. The percentage of accuracy, sensitivity, accuracy of pregnancies and accuracy of barrens of pregnancy diagnosis were 85.84, 90.00, 91.11 and 70.37 % respectively.

It was concluded that pregnancy could be diagnosed on the 22 nd day of gestation by B mode real time ultrasonography rectally.
