The Place and Importance at Pharmacoligical Education in Clinic Veterinary Medicine

In this research, the importance of pharmacological education in veterinarian's careers during carrying on their profession examined considering the clinic education. The research applied on 252 clinician veterinarians graduated from 13 different universities and working in 28 different cities. By reason of the research it's suggested that (75%) the pharmacological education should be thought in the 4th year of the education period. Although 10% of the clinician veterinarians reported that the pharmacological education is not sufficient and 58%of them reported that the practical method of the pharmacological has not been thought. 50% of the interviewer had an intern education. 86% of the interviewer who had taken the intern education agrees that this education is efficient and 73% of them reported that in the intorn education period they need more than 3 weeks pharmacological training. 10% of the interviewers declare that they don't have lack in pharmacology. Professional veterinarians define that the pharmacology lesson is the second important lesson after internal medicine.

As a conclusion, it can be stated that the pharmacology teaching and expression system and the intern period must be reviewed and pharmacology lesson defined as preclinical lesson is as important as the clinic lessons.
