In this study, it is aimed the effect on the amounts of protein, glutathione and lipid peroxidation in the erythrocyte of rats composed oxidative stres and FeCl2+H2O2 injection of methanolic extracts of fruits such as apricot (Hacıhaliloglu) and grape (Banazı Karası).

Hacıhaliloglu from apricots of Malatya and Banazı Karası from kinds of grapes were picked up maturely. After flavonoid and resveratrol contents of fruits were determined, animal groups were created.

Total of 36 male rats were used in the study. Before the experiment, the rats were fed ad libitum by mouse fed and tap water for one week in order to adaptation. Then, the animals distinguished to 6 equal group by chance were injected with the extracts of fruits and Fenton reagent as the way intraperitonal during the 6 weeks as every other day.

At the and of the study, it is concluded that polyphenolic composites in the extracts of apricot and grape had a protective effect for the formation of lipid peroxidation in erythrocyte. Furthermore, it was also determined that these molecules in the extracts of fruits had effect on the levels of protein and glutathione.
