This study was performed to investigate the quantity and composition of the milks obtained from 7 Holstein cows in which lactation was induced with hormones. 1 ml of mixture of 20 mg Estradiol 17 β and 50 mg progesterone was subcutaneusly injected to the animals for inducing their lactation each morning and evening for 7 days. The animals were manually milked four times a day, dating from the fourth day of hormone administration upto the initiation of the lactation. The milk sample of (200 ml) the lactation induced cows were taken every day in between 7-30th day, interval of 10 days between to 30-230th day and after wards with the interval of 30 days by the end of lactation. Gravidity, acidity, pH, dry substance, dry substance in oil, dry substance without oil, oil, protein, water and ash levels were determined in milk samples. In conclusion, the daily mean milk production of Holstein cows in which lactation was induced by hormones was ranging between 0.19 and 17.71 lt and it seems that the composition of the milk was similar to the normal milk.
