General Analysis of Animals Brought to Bingol University Veterinary Faculty Internal Medicine Clinic between 2017 and 2019

In this study, a total of 1715 domestic animals were brought to Bingol University Veterinary Faculty Internal Medicine Clinic between 2017 and 2019 for diagnosis and treatment. Based on species, time and systemic diseases, 105 animals were controlled in 2017, 567 in 2018 and 1043 in 2019. In about three years; 830 pet animals, 525 cattle, 238 ovine animals, 120 exotic animals, and 2 horses were examined. The animals were brought mostly during the spring and lesser in the summer. The percentages of the diseases determined according to the area where they are located are digestive system 28.86%, infectious diseases 18.66%, respiratory system 14.05%, skin diseases 8.34%, circulatory system 3.32%, vitamin-mineral deficiencies 2.80%, metabolic diseases were 1.81%, urinary system 0.82% and general examination was 21.34%. As a result; in Bingol, where animal husbandry is a source of livelihood; it was determined that most of the cat-dog and exotic animals were brought for examination, while the most common diseases were digestive, infectious and respiratory systems.
