Fifty-eight cows and heifers with teat and udder papillomatosis were used in the present study. Papillomas on the teat and udder of 30 animals were removed with electrocauther. Of the remaining animals, 8 were treated with autoheamotherapy, 10 with autovaccine therapy and 10 with a combination of both treatments.

In the histopathological examination of wart specimens collected from 30 animals, fibroma was detected in 3 (10 %), fibropapilloma in 13 (43.3 %), papilloma in 11 (36.7 %), hemangioma in 1 (3.3 %), and fibrosarcoma in 2 (6.7 %) animals.

The success rates were determined as 100%, 86.6%, 37.5% and 70% in the combination of autohaemotherapy and autovaccination, cauterization therapy, autohaemotherapy and autogenous wart vaccine therapy, respectively.
