In this study, it was aimed to determine the levels of irisin, leptin, adiponectin, asprosin, insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), some biochemical and antioxidant parameters in Simmental cows with luteal cyst. For this purpose, 20 Simmental cows were divided into two groups as those with luteal cysts (n=10) and those without luteal cysts (n=10), and analysis were made by taking blood from the cows. The biochemical parameters analyzed were total protein, urea, albumin, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), cholesterol, triglyceride, triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4) and glucose. The antioxidant parameters included malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and catalase (CAT). Adipokine and IGF-1 levels in the samples were determined with commercial ELISA kits. The levels of oxidative stress parameters were analyzed spectrophotometrically and the levels of biochemical parameters were measured with an autoanalyzer. In the light of the data obtained, adiponectin (4.93±0.86 ng/mL), IGF-1 (74.70±10.77 ng/mL) and leptin (2.03±0.20 ng/mL) in cows with luteal cysts It was determined that the antioxidant values were higher and the antioxidant parameters were not different between the groups. Again, albumin (2.11±0.25 g/dL), cholesterol (99.10±13.79 mg/dL), LDH (1458.50±190.87 U/L), T3 (2.48±0 .20 pg/dL), total protein (4.89±0.59 g/dL) and triglyceride (10.90±2.42 mg/dL) values were found to be higher in cows with luteal cysts. As a result; It was concluded that luteal cyst development in cows may be related to adipokines and it would be useful to reveal this relationship with further studies.
