In this study, a total of 30 cows, between the age of 3 to 11 years were used. Calcium (Ca), sodium (Na), chlor (Cl), potassium (K), iron (Fe), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), glucose, triglyceride, total protein, direct bilirubin, total bilirubin, albumin, creatin, cholesterol, SGOT and SGPT concentrations were determined in the serum samples of all animals.

Serum albumin, total bilirubin, glucose, Na and K values obtained from the cows with clinical mastitis were found to be significantly different from those observed in the control animals.

In conclusion, serum albumin, total bilirubin and glucose levels increased, but Na and K concentrations decreased in the animals with clinical mastitis. However, no significant changes were observed in the levels of other biochemical parameters.
