In this study, three otters (Lutra lutra) were used to investigate the bones of fore limb.

It was observed that the area of fossa supraspinata (13.09 cm²) was larger than that of fossa infraspinata (7.34 cm²). Tuberositas deltoidea was crest-shaped. Epicondylus lateralis et medialis had enlarged towards sides and taken fan shape. Foramen supracondylare was present. The joints and spatium interosseum antebrachii between radius and ulna were present. Processus styloideus lateralis was more developed than processus styloideus medialis.

Three proximal and four distal ossa carpi were found. The digital skeleton of the forepav was consisted of five units.
