In this review, non-toxic compounds found in snake venom were studied. Biochemical structures and pharmacological aspects of these compounds were mentioned. In particular, their effects on circulation system and coagulation mechanism were discussed in detail. In addition, brief information about non-protein, non-toxic compounds found in snake venoms which affect the enzyme activity, the compounds which inhibit the enzyme inhibitors activity and hemoragic proteinases were given.
