Frequency of Fasciola hepatica infections in cows with repeat breeding was investigated. Results indicated that 66 of 120 (55%) cows with repeat breeding were seropositive for F. hepatica whereas 54 (45%) were found to be seronegative by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In control group without repeat breeding, 45 of 80 (56.25%) cows were found to be seropositive whereas 35 (43.75 %) were seronegative. These results revealed that there was no statistically significant difference (p>0.05) in terms of seropositivity of F. hepatica between with and without repeat breeding cows.
