The aim of this study was to investigate the endometrial polyp frequency in hysterectomy materials of patients with postmenopausal bleeding.

Hospital records of patients undergo hysterectomy due to postmenopausal bleeding were retrospectively examined and demographic data of patients were assessed.

Endometrial polyp was determined in 16,7% of patients who underwent hysterectomy due to postmenopausal bleeding.

Diagnosis of endometrial polyp should be kept in mind especially in patients with postmenopausal bleeding
