In this study, determination of seroprevalence of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever virus (CCHFV) infection was aimed in cattle and sheep in Elazig, Samsun, Sivas, Tokat and Yozgat provinces. In the study, a total of 100 cattle and 100 sheep, 20 cattle and 20 sheep from each province were used. The blood samples were obtained from a jugular vein of animals into the tubes without anticoagulant for serologic analysis. Serologic analysis was conducted by Capture IgG ELISA method. Seventeen seropositive and 83 seronegative out of 100 cattle; 37 seropositive and 63 seronegative out of 100 sheep were detected in the analysis of ELISA test.

As a conclusion, in the present study, positive antibody titers against of CCHFV infection were determined in 17% of the cattle and in 37% of the sheep. It was concluded that detailed researches are required on the roles of the epidemiology and transmission of CCHFV infection in our country in farm animals.
