Role of the Free Oxygen Radicals on the Pathogenesis of the Diseases

Oxidative stress develops when there is an increase in the amounts of the radicals produced in vivo during metabolism and rendered harmless by antioxidants. It is known that, free oxygen radicals affect the host and virulence of pathogens and reported to be particles causing even some viral and chronic pathogenesis of diseases. In this review, the connection between oxidants and pathogenesis of some viral and chronic diseases are examined.
