Skin incision and punction were performed on the swelling of left neck region, and content of the abscess was discharged with drain application among the muscles, and then the metallic foreign body was removed. Gauze drains were changed 3 times at weekly intervals. Also, the drains were shortened by cutting 4-5 cm each day. At the end of 8 weeks, the lesion completely healed. This case report emphasizes once again the importance of using diagnostic methods instead of symptomatic treatment for successful treatment.
