The case was diagnosed in a 3 years old Simmental cattle that were brought to the Internal Medicine Clinic, University of Firat, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with anorexia, colic and tympany complaints. Clinical examination revealed a pathological change in the intestine, ultrasonographic examination revealed enlarged intestine with a diameter of about 10 cm in the right abdominal region. Experimental laparatomy was decided for diagnosis and treatment in the cattle but general condition rapidly deteriorated and emergency slaughter had to be practised. In this case report, clinical, hematological and ultrasonographic findings of a fibrinous hemorrhagic sekocolitis are presented.
